This wondrous timber framed home was built in 2008, on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.
The views from this home and property are amazing and all encompassing -- they extend from views of the Olympic Mountains to views of Quilcene and Dabob Bays plus views of the valley floor to the town of Quilcene. The views are awe inspiring -- come see and you will not be disappointed.

This home features a beautiful built in Discus Aquarium, hand blown glass jellyfish light fixtures and intricate wood work.
The Valley View Hippy House includes two acres of privacy and is close to wonderful tourist towns such as Port Townsend, Poulsbo and Sequim.
Don't forget your smores... there is a firepit that overlooks the gorgeous view and evening lights in the small Quilcene town. Firewood is provided.
Enjoy the hot tub that also overlooks this great view.
Try out your culinary art skills in the spacious kitchen and serve it up on the bar. This is a wonderful area for a buffet style meal. With the stainless steel propane gas cook top, combined with two electric side by side ovens, it makes cooking a pleasure. Picnic just outside of the kitchen / dining area.
This 1900 square foot home, with two baths, three bedrooms, including a private sleeping loft, and a recreation sleeping area with two beds. This home includes four queen beds and one full sized bed. The home can comfortably sleep ten people. The layout of this home provides for private individual space while also featuring a very large dining area, huge outside deck, lawn area and large barbecue for servicing bigger groups.
Enjoy Direct TV and DVD in the recreation sleeping room, the sleeping loft and the main bedroom.
Being mostly on one level, this home has wonderful handicap accessability and is a perfect getaway for people who do not do well with stairs.
The entry is at ground level, as well as the deck and all needed living areas. Washer and Dryer onsite.
In season, you can go down to the bay and catch one of these ... only fresh! Digging clams and catching Dungeness Crab are also just a few outside
activities that you can enjoy. Oysters in the shell can be purchased and left at the home if you request them in advance. Cost runs $5.00
per dozen or a gunny sack full for $35.00. They are harvested from certified beaches and are a great treat on the barbecue.
Hiking the Olympic National Forest is also a favorite among tourists. Hikes and biking surround the Olympic Peninsula, as well as snow skiing and water sports.
This home is featured by our favorite Newfoundland, Otis. He wants you to know that this home is pet friendly ... even for big boys.
(I love visiting here, but I still do not know how to get up those spiral stairs!)
We also offer kayak rental on Quilcene Bay upon request and will gladly have them ready and waiting for you at the marina. Cost for a day includes
2 single sit on top kayaks @ $100. and is sure to be a great day. Additional kayaks rented at $50. per day. These are shared with our other homes
and are rented on a first come, first serve basis, so they need to be reserved early. Quilcene Bay generally has very warm water summer temps, great clamming, crabbing and salmon fishing at various times of the year. The seals and scenery will totally enchant you, just a 10 minute drive away.
(This service is only available during warmer weather seasons.)
Quilcene has the very best Massage Therapist anywhere! She does book out about one month in advance, but for people who are booking ahead of time,
this $40 hourly experience is well worth your time and enjoyment. Please ask for more information about this.
The following prices are for up to ten people.
High Season (June 15 - Labor Day Weekend) and All Major Holidays (including Presidents Day, Valentines Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, week of Christmas and week of New Years) $375 per day with a four night minimum, if it includes a weekend.
A two night minimum is required on weekdays (Meaning Sunday - Thursday). Cleaning fee of $100. Additional people (all ages) are charged at the rate of $20 per day / per person. Pets are welcome. Additional $15.00 daily fee, per pet
Low Season (After Labor Day Weekend, '09 - June 14 (Excluding Holidays, see above) $275. per day. A two night visit is required, with a possible longer stay on
Holiday Weekends.
(WA State sales and lodging tax of 10.4% will be added to above rates.) Visa and Master Card are gladly excepted
